Citrix Solution Advisor Programme
Citrix made important changes to the Citrix Solution Advisor
programme on June 1, 2011. The Authorised level has been
eliminated and Citrix are now inviting these partners to become
Silver partners by meeting the new Silver requirements.
All new partners will join as Silver partners going forward and
have until their next membership renewal to achieve a minimum
product sales goal and become certified to sell at least one
product. Sales will be measured based on product sales and
influenced product sales (see guide for more details).
Minimally engaged partners will have their membership
terminated on 31st December 2011, where they will then be
offered the opportunity to re-engage to remain in the
programme. All partners who meet the new requirements will
continue with their Silver, Gold or Platinum membership with no
distruptions.
As a reminder, partners do not need to be a Citrix Solution
Advisor to sell Citrix XenApp Fundamentals. If you currently
distribute XenApp Fundamentals, please continue to make this
available to partners who are not quite ready to join as a Solution
Advisor.

Citrix Solution Advisor Programme levels
Silver – all regions The Citrix Solution
Advisor Silver programme is designed for resellers who are looking
to add Citrix products to their vertical or specific solution
offerings; either larger resellers who leverage Citrix or resellers
who typically service Small and Medium Businesses (SMB),
departmental or other small engagements.
Gold – all regions The Citrix Solution Advisor
Gold programme targets resellers who focus on virtual computing
infrastructure as a core part of their business offerings. These
partners use Citrix products to deliver a set of applications for
customers – designing and implementing secure networks and system
management. Note: Solution Advisors are required to be Silver for a
minimum of six months before they are able to qualify to move to
Gold status.
Platinum - all regions The Citrix Solution
Advisor Platinum programme is invitation only for resellers who
build a business on virtual computing infrastructure and those that
consistently execute well against revenue and customer goals. These
partners are highly limited in number and are very tightly
connected to the Citrix sales teams.
