CCNP Voice Xtra - providing delegate support tools
Global Knowledge has now launched CCNP Voice Xtra, a
complimentary online learning resource to help you get the
most from your learning programme. The online repository
allows users access to support tools such as technical papers,
industry experts and video tutorials. It allows delegates to
practise and hone their skills in Unified Communications,
benefiting both professional network and system
engineers. Individuals can learn at their own pace – either
before, during or after the course.
Building on the success of other GK Xtra programmes, covering
CCNA, CCNP and VMware, CCNP Voice Xtra recognises the need to
provide learning support tools that goes beyond the formal
instructor-led programme. In that sense it takes Xtra to the
next level, helping learners to cement their knowledge. Beta tests
support this case, showing that using Xtra material, can enhance a
candidate’s chances of passing the course by over 20%.
This Xtra material is exclusive to Global Knowledge, the largest
Cisco Learning Solutions Partner.
About the CCNP Voice Certification
Cisco recently completed a significant upgrade to their CCVP
programme, including a new name: Cisco Certified Network
Professional Voice (CCNP Voice). The topics covered on these new
exams better reflect the daily job tasks of Cisco Unified
Communications and VoIP professionals and have streamlined the
process of getting certified by eliminating the
enterprise/commercial option.
New to the CCNP Voice Programme?
Once you have earned the prerequisite CCNA Voice certification,
you'll need to pass five exams: CVOICE v8 (642-437), CIPT1 v8
