Mike is a 45 year-old father to 3 children
with 20 years experience in IT. On leaving University, Mike spent
18 months as a C++ Network Management Programmer before joining
Marconi as a Datacomms Support Engineer, after 5 years with Marconi
he took a similar role at Ericsson. Mike was part of a team
responsible for LANs, WANs, clients and hosts and during this time
he qualified as a Cisco CCIE in Routing and Switching, this
involved him attending various courses, which inspired him to
change career.
For the past 12 years Mike has worked as an
instructor for Azlan Training, and now Global Knowledge. Mike
delivers the Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIP, CCVP and CCIE course
curriculum and also the core VMware vSphere courses. VMware
and Cisco complement one another in championing the current
technical developments in virtualisation and convergence and Mike
is proud to be part of the Global Knowledge team that help
customers to engage in these growth areas.
