Overview This five day intensive workshop is a combination of Routing theory and practical Switch configuration. Students will learn how routing is implemented in the Nortel switch range as well as investigating Core and Edge routing scenarios.
The course divides into 2 key areas
a. Routing Protocols & Theory - OSPF, RIP, BGP etc.
b. Switch Configuration - Small, Medium & Large Campus solutions
NortelEthernet Routing Switch:
Consider these facts; it is estimated worldwide mobile phones would reach in excess of 4 billion subscribers by the end of 2009 with 16 million added every day. Machine-oriented traffic will soon surpass people-oriented traffic. In the coming decades experts predict that 1 trillion devices will be connected to networks. Some consider this a challenge where Nortel sees this as an opportunity.
