Overview 

This course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge required to manage their network using the CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution (LMS). The focus is on finding the correct tools within CiscoWorks to document the network inventory, manage device configurations, control software updates, monitor performance, troubleshoot faults, and simplify the deployment of new Cisco technologies.

This course uses CiscoWorks LMS 4.0


Pre-Requisites

Attendees should meet the following prerequisites:

  • Knowledge of basic Cisco IOS commands, Cisco Catalyst operating system commands,and TCP/IP ICND1 recommended
  • Basic Microsoft Windows and internet Browser navigation skills
  • Basic e-mail usage skills
