Overview
The Oracle Certified Professional certification - formerly Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) - provides a credential for programmers interested in demonstrating proficiency in the fundamentals of the Java programming language. The Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification provides certification specifically for Java SE 6.
Pre-Requisites
- Knowledge of programming principles and experience in procedural programming or scripting languages; understanding of object-oriented languages is an advantage.
Target Audience
This course is suitable for Programmers with an understanding of procedural programming concepts who want to learn Java and object-oriented programming; programmers proficient in another object-oriented programming language who want to move to Java.
