Overview This hands-on course is designed to provide an understanding of how the EMC Smarts IP Management Suite can be used to provide effective infrastructure management. It provides an overview of EMC Smarts Technologies and Architecture, and an in-depth explanation of the Administration Consoles. Advanced features and functions of EMC Smarts for IP are covered, including creating management policies and controlling Discovery from the command line. Hands-on labs allow participants to install and configure EMC Smarts on a live network under the guidance of an expert instructor.

Knowledge/Skills:
To understand the content and successfully complete this course, a student must have a suitable knowledgebase/skill set. The student must have an understanding of the Smarts Global Console and Ionix Service Assurance Manager, plus a general understanding of network management concepts.
