Overview This course will provide the required information to effectively design, install, and manage an EMC Ionix Network Configuration Manager (formerly VoyenceControl) application in a production environment.
Pre-Requisites
To understand the content and successfully complete this course, a student must have a suitable knowledgebase/skill set. The student must have an understanding of systems administration and basic IP troubleshooting.

This course is intended for individuals responsible for designing and installing EMC Ionix Network Configuration Manager (NCM) as well as the management of systems hosting an EMC Ionix NCM installation.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Describe the basic capabilities and architecture of EMC Ionix NCM
- List platform support and security considerations for deploying EMC Ionix NCM
- Describe the Distributed and Combo EMC Ionix NCM Architectures
- Explain the sizing, security, and port considerations for an EMC Ionix NCM implementation
- List the steps to install EMC Ionix NCM via Command Line Interface, Graphical User Interface, and silent installation scripts
- Configure EMC Ionix NCM for an initial Network Discovery
- Create and discover a Network
- Describe common system administration tasks
