Price: £1,995.00 (ex. VAT)

Overview

BizTalk is an integral part of the Windows Server System family, and is designed to facilitate integration between business systems. With its core architecture based on XML and the .NET Framework, WCF & Web service support is tightly woven into BizTalk 2010.
New features in BizTalk 2010 include ESB Guidance v2 (ESB Guidance 2.0 includes ESB usage patterns, enhanced itinerary processing, itinerary modeling using visual Domain Specific Language (DSL) tools, a pluggable resolver-adapter pack, and an improved ESB management portal), Managed Services Engine, .NET 4.0, New Web Services Registry (UDDI 3.), two new adapters for Oracle E-Business Suites and SQL Server, WCF WebSphere MQ channel & updated platform support for the most recent versions of CICS, IMS, CICS HTTP transport, and DB2. There is increased support for UDM cubes and scalable real-time aggregations for use with Business Intelligence platforms such as PerformancePoint.
BizTalk Server 2009 also brings in several improvements to the underlying Visual Studio-based BizTalk development environment, which improves debugging support in areas such as BizTalk Maps (using XSLT), pipeline components and XLANG Orchestrations, and allows for unit testing via Visual Studio Test.
In addition, BizTalk Server 2009 talks to Team Foundation Server (TFS), allowing Dev teams to make use of integrated source control, bug tracking, team development support, integration with Project Server, and support for automating builds using MSBuild.
