ARCH - Designing Cisco Network Service Architectures

ARCH - Designing Cisco Network Service Architectures

Cisco Course v2.0 | Prepares you for Cisco Exam 642-873 ARCH

Price: £695 (ex. VAT)

Overview

In this course, which is the basis for the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification, you'll gain the skills needed to perform the conceptual, intermediate, and detailed design of a network infrastructure that supports network solutions over intelligent networks services to achieve effective performance, scalability, and availability. Cisco SONA network design principles are emphasized throughout this course.

The course and casework take you through enterprise internetworking design solution examples for large-scale routing environments and complex campus networking environments, from the network fundamentals to the mission-critical network solutions. The course incorporates QoS, security, IP multicast, high availability, and network management design considerations, with an emphasis on Voice over Wireless LAN, advanced routing, and data center design with SAN in large enterprise networks. Good design techniques are emphasized using casework.

By focusing on scalable, optimal IP network and complex campus solutions while considering the necessary QoS, security, high availability, IP multicast, and intelligent network solutions, this course helps network designers understand the issues they face within the enterprise network. The casework will help network engineers design their networks for optimal performance, stability, and scalability.

What you will receive in your Spel package:

This package includes case studies, allowing you to get comprehension to discuss and create various designs , and one FREE exam voucher.

Casework:

These case studies support most of the major Cisco design concepts: campus infrastructure, addressing, routing, data center, e-commerce, security, VPN, and NAC. The mastery case covers all topics in a new organization.

Case 2-1: Campus Network Design for MegaCorp

Create a new network design to provide a complete campus upgrade.

Case 3-1: CP Hotels - Addressing Design

Analyze the existing addressing scheme, then suggest improvements and changes with justifications.

Case 5-1: CP Hotels - Routing Design

Analyze the present routing scheme, analyze weaknesses, and suggest improvements. All ideas must be supported by principles covered in class.

Case 6-1: CP Hotels - Network Serve Initiative

Data center design is required for existing and planned support.

Case 7-1: CP Hotels - E-Commerce Initiative

Add an e-commerce module to the data center design for CP Hotels.

Case 9-1: CP Hotels - Security and VPN

A security policy is required along with a complete VPN solution to complement the WAN design.

Case 10-1: CP Hotels - NAC Appliance

Implement Network Acess Control (NAC) and design for the infrastructure and a NAC Appliance.

Case 12-1: Mastery Case - Medical Research institute Network Infrastructure

This case pulls together all the topics covered in ARCH with a design for a new and different company requiring an A-to-Z network creation.
