An overview of XenApp 5 Feature Pack 2 – VM Hosted Applications,
presented by our lead instructor and Citrix expert John Cumpsty.

At the end of September Citrix released the latest update, Feature Pack 2, for XenApp 5 which enhances the options available to many organisations regarding the ways and means of delivering virtualised applications to users. Significantly, organisations now have the opportunity to deliver VM Hosted Applications, that is, applications previously unavailable for delivery as they were based on workstation operating systems, not server operating systems. The world of Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 has come of age in the corporate environment.

In this webinar we present an overview of the systems environment, desktop environment, and components necessary to deliver such virtualised applications; administration of the related environments, and publishing VM Hosted Application resources.
