There is no single approach to the provision of our learning services that is applicable in all circumstances. There are too many factors that need to be taken into consideration to allow us to prescribe a one-size-fits-all approach to activities such as the development of courseware, supporting materials and the implementation of a learning solution.
Instead, Global Knowledge's learning consultants work within the broad context of our development framework, to identify an approach that will best suit the task at hand.
Whilst the individual steps taken to provide a learning service that meets specific organisational objectives may vary, the route will almost invariably be the same:
- Analysis of the learning requirements
- Design of learning solution
- Development of the components that will permit the implementation of the solution
- Implementation or delivery of the combination of elements that provide the learning solution
- Evaluation of the final deliverables.

The development sequence and methodology that we use is inevitably driven by the decisions taken during the analysis and design phases of any project, and the transition between design and development is facilitated by ensuring that there is continuity of personnel throughout all of the phases.

A key ingredient in this chain of events is the continual review, testing and refinement of all parts of the process – obtaining a better understanding of the requirements, improving the design to better meet need, enhancing the deliverable to provide a better quality of learning experience, using evaluation information to improve processes as well as products.
All of our projects are assigned a dedicated project manager who will ensure the appropriate engagement of client subject matter experts and reviewers, project sponsors and deploy the elements of the method that are required for the particular project.
