Global Knowledge launches first multi-vendor Channel service that’s Fit4Business®


~ Managed solution helps partners achieve, retain and enhance their Cisco, Microsoft and VMware partner status and demystifies vendor certification ~

3rd March 2011 – Wokingham, UK – IT training and business skills provider, Global Knowledge has announced the launch of Fit4Business® -the first multi-vendor management service for channel partners to co-ordinate their Cisco, Microsoft and VMware training certifications. The service aims to drive return-on-investment throughout the certification process and demystify the perceived complexities associated with multiple vendor certification requirements.

Fit4Business® is a collaborative relationship between Global Knowledge, vendors, the channel partner and supporting organisations. The process uses human intervention and Global Knowledge’s proprietary consultancy and management tool to track their multi-vendor certifications.

Allan Pettman, UK managing director, Global Knowledge said: “Each vendor has its own guidelines, as managing a plethora of certifications so you stay within the rules can be a complicated and time-consuming process. With Fit4Business® we’ve developed the first one-stop-shop that allows channel partners to view and manage all their Cisco, Microsoft and VMware certifications in one place. At a time when quality of service is under increasing scrutiny, it will help provide them with the tools to retain and enhance their partner status.”

Global Knowledge has helped more than 100 Cisco channel partners worldwide successfully reach their certification, specialisation, and competency goals through the Fit4Business® programme.
