Accelerate-IT: Business Leader Programme

Business-LeaderTechnology has become the driving force behind every business as organisations look to IT to innovate business models, improve customer intimacy and deliver superior business results in a competitive and complex environment.

The challenge is that in order to fully leverage the benefits technology can deliver business and technical stakeholders need to collaborate in new and different ways – this requires new skills and knowledge. Business stakeholders need to strengthen their business technology IQ and they play a more significant and active role in the governance of IT.

The Global Knowledge Accelerate-IT: Business Leader Programme has been developed to equip Business Leaders who are responsible for collaborating with IT to set business and IT strategy with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the new technology-led world. The programme focuses on topics to help business leaders understand their role in using technology as a strategic tool and improve the their business technology IQ.

Learning Format

Each module is divided into three parts - Prepare, Participate and Perform.


This is the pre-work completed in advance of the session to help the Business Leader get ready to maximise participation in the workshop. It provides the foundational knowledge on the topics to be covered.


The three day highly interactive workshop allows learners to apply what they have learned to a central case study. Participants also have the opportunity to create plans for how they will use what they learn within their own organisation.


After the participate phase the learners complete a self-paced assignment that encourages them to apply the concepts, models and skills that they have learned in a way that helps them improve business performance.
